 Lake Yosemite is 450 acres of reservoir surface water located in north Merced, California, in the Central Valley between the cities of Fresno and Modesto.The lake is managed by the Merced County Parks and Recreation Department. There are about 85 sailboat slips. Picnic tables are located near the LYSA docks on a grassy area that stretches more than one half mile along the shoreline. Giant Eucalyptus  trees shade the grass from the summer heat and add to the beauty surrounding the lake. There is a $5.00 park entry fee during the week and a $6.00 park entry fee on the weekends and holidays. An annual park pass may be purchased for $50.00.
